What is the difference between a flyer and a brochure?
A flyer is a single flat sheet, printed on one or both sides. A brochure is folded (tri-fold, bi-fold, gate-fold) and treated as a multi-page piece. Flyers are the right call for a single-event announcement, a one-page service overview, or a promotional handout. Brochures are for content that requires multiple panels and a more deliberate read.
What size flyers do you print?
Standard sizes are 5.5x8.5 (half letter), 8.5x11 (letter), 8.5x14 (legal), 11x17 (tabloid), and 4x6 / 6x9 (postcard-style flyers). The configurator on the product page shows the supported sizes for the stock you choose. 8.5x11 is the most common flyer size for business handouts.
What flyer stock should I choose?
100lb gloss text is the volume standard. Bright, color-saturated, and economical. 100lb matte gives a softer, more readable surface for text-heavy flyers. 100lb + UV is high-gloss and makes images pop, but the surface can stick in humid weather. 80lb enviro uncoated is the option for eco-positioned brands. 70lb linen uncoated has a subtle texture that signals premium without raising cost dramatically.
How long does it take to print and ship flyers?
Standard production is 7 days or less from proof approval. Proofs typically come back within one business day of file upload. So order Monday, proof Tuesday, approve Tuesday, ready for pickup or shipped by the following Tuesday. Pickup at our Huntington, NY shop. Free shipping on orders over $150.
Can I get one-sided flyers cheaper?
On most flyer stocks, single-sided (4/0) and double-sided (4/4) printing run at the same configurator price, because we run them on the same press in the same gang. The savings would come from cutting down on production time, not material cost. If you only need one side, simply submit a one-sided PDF.
