TL;DR
Business cards on Long Island cost between $15 and $95 for a typical small-business order in 2026. The price depends on quantity (100 to 5,000+), paper stock (14pt to 18pt), and finish (AQ, UV, matte lamination, soft touch, or foil-painted edges). What affects the price?
- Quantity. Cost per card drops sharply at 250, 500, and 1,000. 5,000-card refills hit the lowest per-card rate.
- Stock thickness. 14pt is the standard. 16pt adds noticeable rigidity. 18pt with lamination is a premium feel.
- Finish. AQ is the default scuff-resistant coating. UV is high gloss. Matte lamination kills glare. Soft touch feels like suede. Foil-painted edges and spot UV are specialty adds.
- Sides. Single-sided (4/0) is cheaper than two-sided (4/4) on writable C1S stocks.
- Turnaround. Standard ships in 7 business days. Rush options are configurable per SKU.
- Design help. Upload your own print-ready PDF for $0. Need a designer? See /design-services.
How LICP business card pricing compares
We print on commercial-grade offset and digital presses — the same paper, coatings, and equipment used by major online printers. Where we differ is the surface: live pricing on every option (no quote forms), pickup at our Huntington shop for Long Island customers, and a designer you can actually talk to if your file isn't print-ready. We don't claim to be the cheapest in the world. We claim to be the most honest local option, with commercial-grade quality and a price tag that updates in real time.
Worked examples
500 cards, 14pt with AQ coating, two-sided
Starts around $15 base. Configurable to your quantity tier and any add-on coating or rounded corners.
1,000 cards, 16pt with UV gloss
Starts around $16 at minimum quantity. Bumping to 1,000 and adding UV puts most orders well above that floor — configure on the product page for an exact live total.
250 cards, 18pt matte / silk lamination
Starts around $17. The lamination is the premium upgrade most clients notice in hand.
FAQs
Why does my quote change if I add UV coating or foil?
UV gloss, soft touch lamination, foil-painted edges, and spot UV are separate finishing passes after the press run. Each adds material and machine time. The live quote on the product page rolls those costs in as soon as you toggle the option, so the total you see is the total you pay.
Do you charge extra for design?
Only if you need design help. If you upload a print-ready PDF, design cost is $0. If you want us to build the card from a logo or rough idea, our Design Services start at $97 for a simple two-sided card. See /design-services for the full menu.
Is shipping included in these prices?
No. Shipping is calculated at checkout based on quantity, weight, and destination. Long Island customers can also pick up in Huntington at no charge once the order is ready.
Are these prices wholesale?
These are retail prices for one-off orders. We do offer trade pricing for agencies, resellers, and repeat commercial customers — contact us if you order regularly and want a quote on a recurring program.
How long until I get my cards?
Most business card orders ship within 7 business days of proof approval. Rush options are available at checkout on most SKUs. Pickup in Huntington adds zero transit days; ground shipping inside the NY metro is typically 1-2 days from ship.
