What is the difference between BOPP, poly, and paper labels?
BOPP (biaxially-oriented polypropylene) is the standard water-resistant label material. Use it on bottles, cosmetics, food, anything that gets wet or refrigerated. Poly is similar but slightly more durable for outdoor or industrial use. Paper labels are uncoated, writable, and the cheapest option, suited for interior product use, shipping labels, and one-time-use applications where water resistance is not a concern.
Can I get die-cut labels in a custom shape?
Yes. Custom die-cut shapes are available on roll labels. Submit your shape as a separate cut line in your PDF (set up as a spot color named "CutContour" or "DieLine") and our preflight team will confirm the cut path before production. Square, rectangle, oval, and circle shapes do not require a custom die.
Are these labels roll-fed for automatic application?
Yes. Roll labels (BOPP, poly, paper) come on a 3-inch or 1-inch core ready for automatic or hand application. Specify the core size and wind direction (in or out) during checkout. For low-volume or manual application, slit-back paper labels and sticker sheets are available on the labels-60lb SKU.
What is the minimum order quantity for labels?
Minimum quantities vary by SKU. Roll labels typically start at 250 pieces. Slit-back stickers start at 50 sheets. Larger quantities reduce per-piece cost significantly because we gang multiple jobs on the press. The configurator on each product page shows live pricing for the supported quantities.
How long does label production take?
Standard production is 7 days or less from proof approval. Labels and stickers run on dedicated label presses, which can take the full 7-day window depending on production schedule. Proofs come within one business day. Pickup in Huntington if you need them sooner. Free shipping over $150.
