What is the standard size for a presentation folder?
Standard presentation folders are 9x12 with two interior pockets, sized to hold 8.5x11 letter-sized inserts. Some configurations include a business card slot on one or both pockets. We also print 6x9 mini-folders for smaller documents and trade-show literature.
Should I get AQ, UV, or matte lamination on the folder?
AQ coating is the budget option and protects against scuffing in transit. UV high gloss makes colors pop and is the most common finish. Matte lamination gives a premium feel, hides fingerprints, and is the right choice for a real estate listing or legal proposal folder. Spot UV over matte lamination is a higher-end finish that highlights a logo.
Can I add foil stamping or embossing?
Standard catalog folders do not include foil stamping or embossing. Those are specialty finishes that require a custom quote. If foil or emboss is required, contact us before ordering and we will route the job to the right specialty printer in our network.
How many folders should I order at once?
Setup is the same for 100 folders as 500, so per-unit price drops sharply at higher quantities. For a real estate office or legal practice handing out folders weekly, 250-500 is the right starting point. For a single trade show or event, 100-250 covers it.
Are the folders flat-shipped or pre-folded?
Folders ship flat-die-cut with score lines, ready to fold by hand. Folding takes a few seconds per folder. We ship flat because it saves freight cost and avoids transit damage to assembled folders.
