What flute thickness should I order for my yard sign?
4mm coroplast is the industry standard for short-term signs (real estate listings, political, garage sale). 6mm is the right pick for signs that stay up for a few months or in exposed locations. 8mm and 10mm are reserved for signs that need to survive a full storm season, repeated handling, or commercial job-site use. Thicker flute resists wind warping but costs more.
Are the signs single or double-sided?
Both are configurable. Single-sided is the default for one-direction viewing (yard against a wall, listing facing the street). Double-sided is the right call when foot traffic or vehicle traffic passes from both directions. Double-sided adds about 25-35% to the per-sign price.
Do the signs come with stakes?
No. Coroplast yard signs and the H-stakes are sold as separate SKUs. Each 4mm sign accepts a standard 10x30 H-stake. Order one stake per sign. 6mm and thicker flutes also accept the same H-stake but hold tighter.
What is the standard size?
18x24 is the standard yard sign size. It is what every Nassau and Suffolk real estate office uses, what most political campaigns standardize on, and what every H-stake is sized for. 24x18 horizontal orientation is the same panel rotated. Smaller (12x18) and larger (24x36) sizes are configurable.
How long does the print hold up outdoors?
UV ink on coroplast holds full color for 3-6 months in direct Long Island sun, longer if rotated out of direct sun. Coating prevents most weather fade. For year-round permanent signs, aluminum or styrene with vinyl applique outperforms coroplast.
